Travel Personalities
Updated: Nov 6, 2020

There’s a trip for every personality type out there. Whether you travel solo, with family, with organized travel groups, there’s a vacation or journey that suits you best. Most of us have elements of multiple travel personality types, yet I feel at our core we lean towards one.
The Luxurist: Exclusive posh resorts, personalized service, fine dining (Monaco, Abu Dhabi, Paris, Bora Bora, Playa Del Carmen, Phuket, Maldives)

The Thrillseeker: Those looking for adventure such as cage diving with sharks, summiting a mountain, back packing through a jungle. This traveler prefers camping and hostels over hotels (The Amazon, Reykjavik, Cape Town, Australia)

The Chillaxer: Relaxing on the beach, wandering the streets of a new city, very few organized excursions (St. Thomas, Kyoto, Lake Tahoe, Nice, Bali, Amalfi Coast, Key West)

The Cultured Traveler: Museums and historical sites are the objectives of the trips, minimal time shopping (Florence, Washington DC, Paris, Egypt, London, Johannesburg, Melbourne, Copenhagen)

The Reveler: Clubbing and nightlife is one of the top priorities. Vacations are meant for partying and being around others (Ibiza, Miami, Rio, Jamaica, Las Vegas)

The Bright Lights Big City: This traveler seeks the energy and stimulation from a bustling, crowded big city. Shows, shops, and people watching. (New York, Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Delhi)

The Nature Lover: Animal and natural scenery inspires your vacation (Galapogos Islands, Sedona, Tanzania, Buzios, Wyoming)
